Hi again: Semester 2 Madness

Hi again! It's semester two of "So you want to be an Interior Designer" and so far it's been...challenging. To be completely and utterly frank, the main reason I am sitting blogging right now is due to the fact that we have a crazy big submission for tomorrow and I am quite simply very over staring at the same 3D model on my computer screen. So this felt like the most productive form of procrastination. And that's all this semester's been really: proactive and well-timed procrastination, mixed with overwhelming feelings of frustration and little to no sleep.

Semester 2 has greeted me with mixed feelings: feelings of excitement to finish my studies, feelings of fear as I start looking for a job, and feelings of exhaustion as I constantly yearn for my bed. I am actually sitting in bed at this very minute working, which I know is a bad idea, but humour me. Once you have stared at a building for 4 days straight you would also appreciate the comfort of a Mohair blanket and a warm cup of coffee.

As a project update, Ilanga is doing well and is still well on track. A few tiny logo changes and an exciting addition to the colour palette have been introduced, and I can't wait to share it with you all! But with a looming treatise hand in...and this animation hand in for tomorrow...I'm afraid the designing will have to wait for the moment. But I will be sharing the new ideas and progress soon!

But...I have a submission for tomorrow. And another night awaits where I probably won't get any sleep. So I suppose I'll have to get to it. Chat again soon.
