Style setter: Interviewing a fashion designer

As I'm sure you already know, my BTech project for this year involves many different designers and craftsmen working under one roof. I therefore thought it would be beneficial - and somewhat necessary - to interview these designers and get a peek into their daily lives and operations. I had the immense privilege to interview and observe a wide variety of designers in different fields, one of which being a formidable fashion designer.

Having been a fashion designer for over 20 years, the information and insight from the designer was incredibly valuable. From storage of fabrics to pattern making, there are so many elements making up a fashion designer's life and accommodating for these specific needs are going to be a happily taken challenge. Her method, insight and seamless (excuse the pun) way of working are a true inspiration for my project and I am very excited to implement what I have learned from her.
